High Performance Driving Experience at Thunderhill Raceway

The Event This registration is for one day only Sunday Feb. 18 at Road Atlanta. We will only have two run groups, B-Intermediate Solo and C-Advanced/Race Prepped. Each run group will be on track for four 30 minute sessions on Sunday. There will no A-Beginner group. This will allow more liberal passing for the B-Group and C-Advanced group and allow you more track time. There will be some coaches available if you wish, to help you if you are new to this World Class track.
The Track Road Atlanta is recognized as one of the world’s best road courses at 2.54 miles with 12 turns. It is situated on 750 park like acres in the rolling hills of Northeast Georgia and is truly world class. Road Atlanta is host to the American Le Mans Series hosting PETIT LE MANS along with the AMA Superbikes.
HOD will be sharing the weekend with VDCA (Vintage Drivers Club of America). VDCA enjoys preserving and racing period authentic sports racers through the fifties and sixties up to the sports racers of 1976. World Sports Car Championship and World Manufacturer’s Championship GTs and prototypes as raced between 1960 and 1970. USRRC sports cars and Can-Am as raced before 1967 and some later models. Formula 1 cars up to 1965 and Trans–Am cars up to 1976.
VDCA will be practicing in between HOD sessions with three VDCA races scheduled for Sunday from 1-3pm. These are truly great cars to watch in action when you’re not on track. This should be a weekend to remember as you drive this World Class track. Contact dauer@hookedondriving.com for more info.
